MINISTRIES & MISSIONS
CONNECT WITH US THROUGH SERVING
At Spring Hill UMC, we believe in serving together—in our congregation and out in the world. Find your area to volunteer, and join us in being the hands and feet of Jesus to others.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES
If you have a heart for sharing Jesus with children and youth, we have a place for you! There are a variety of ways to serve within this ministry.
(Note: As part of our Safe Sanctuaries Policy, a background check is done on anyone working with our children or youth.)
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY TEAM
If you enjoy cooking, planning events, and making others feel welcome, then the Hospitality Ministry Team would love to meet you. This ministry supports various events involving the church.
If you have the gift of hospitality, contact the church office to get connected with this group.
JETPACKS FOR BETHESDA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
This ministry helps support our local elementary school by providing weekly meals for children in need.
Whether you’re interested in helping prepare the packs or would like to help deliver them to the school, contact the church office to get connected.
JOSEPH BROWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Spring Hill UMC has “adopted” the second graders of Joseph Brown Elementary School. We provide support to the teachers by volunteering in the classrooms to help students with assignments, math facts, and reading. We also have a couple of special events we participate in with the classes each year.
Contact the church office to get connected with this ministry.
THE PEOPLE’S TABLE
Whether you like to cook food or serve food, this is an opportunity to do either or both. The People’s Table is a local ministry that offers meals to those who might otherwise go hungry. Meals are served at First United Methodist Church in Columbia, TN. Spring Hill hosts several of these meals throughout the year.
If you’re interested in more information, contact the church office.
SHUT-IN MINISTRY
Many of our shut-ins would love to be present with us more often, but they are in a season of life that prevents that from happening.
If you want to help keep these individuals feeling connected to what’s going on at Spring Hill UMC, contact Pastor Yoder to find out more about how you can serve this ministry.
SPRING HILL UMC MEN’S GROUP
If you’re a man looking to grow in your faith with other men of faith, then consider becoming a part of this ministry. This group participates in a variety of events and meets weekly to encourage one another in their spiritual journey.
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP TEAM
Our Sunday morning worship team includes those who serve by leading in various aspects of the worship service (Liturgy, Offertory, Call to Worship, Children’s Moment, Audio/Video Technology).
UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH
The United Women in Faith is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Email contact@springhillumctn.org if you’d like to get connected with this group.
