HOSPITALITY MINISTRY TEAM
If you enjoy cooking, planning events, and making others feel welcome, then the Hospitality Ministry Team would love to meet you. This ministry supports various events involving the church.
If you have the gift of hospitality, contact the church office to get connected with this group.
JETPACKS FOR SPRING STATION MIDDLE SCHOOL
This ministry helps support our local middle school by providing weekly meals for children in need.
Whether you’re interested in helping prepare the packs or would like to help deliver them to the school, contact the church office to get connected with Connie.
JOSEPH BROWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Spring Hill UMC has “adopted” the first graders of Joseph Brown Elementary School. We provide support to the teachers by volunteering in the classrooms to help students with assignments, math facts, and reading. We also have a couple of special events we participate in with the classes each year.
Contact the church office to get connected with this ministry.
THE PEOPLE’S TABLE
Whether you like to cook food or serve food, this is an opportunity to do either or both. The People’s Table is a local ministry that offers meals to those who might otherwise go hungry. Meals are served at First United Methodist Church in Columbia, TN. Spring Hill hosts several of these meals throughout the year.
If you’re interested in more information, contact the church office.
SHUT-IN MINISTRY
Many of our shut-ins would love to be present with us more often, but they are in a season of life that prevents that from happening.
If you want to help keep these individuals feeling connected to what’s going on at Spring Hill UMC, contact Pastor Yoder to find out more about how you can serve this ministry.
SINGLES GATHERING
Whether you’re single for a season or single for a reason, the Singles’ Ministry welcomes you. This group meets monthly for a “brown bag” lunch gathering. During these monthly gatherings, the group has a time of fellowship while also planning other outings.
If you’d like more information about this ministry, contact the church office.
SPRING HILL UMC MEN’S MINISTRY
If you’re a man looking to grow in your faith with other men of faith, then consider becoming part of this ministry. This group participates in a variety of events and meets monthly to encourage one another in their spiritual journey.
For more information, contact Aaron Johnson.
SUNDAY MORNING LITURGIST
Our Sunday morning liturgist participates in the worship service by reading the scriptures planned for the morning service.
For more information about serving in this way, please contact our Administrative Assistant, Linda Vaughn.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW)
The United Methodist Women is a community of Women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
